We'll work on ways to help stop intrusive thoughts, soften overwhelming feelings, and reclaim a sense of safety in mind, body and in the world around you.  Our work together will help you work on changing unhelpful narratives and building emotional regulation skills.

Process Grief and Trauma

Using both cognitive (CBT) and somatic-centred practices, our work together will help you soften intense responses, and tolerate the emotional and sensational discomfort of grief.  Rooted in attachment, neuroscience, affect regulation, embodiment research and the wisdom of the natural world, we'll take the necessary time to work through painful lived experiences, images, flashbacks, nightmares, and any other distressing memory or sensation.

Relationship Sessions

Chronic stress and trauma can impact connection, communication and engagement between parents and caregivers. In these sessions, we'll explore individual grieving processes, the impact of loss on parenting living children, coping approaches, differences and alignments.

Individual Sessions

We'll work one-on-one to explore the experiences that brought you to therapy. I'll tailor an approach to healing that makes the most sense for what you need and want.

My Approach

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is at the core of our therapy practice. I prioritize privacy and trust, ensuring that your personal information and sessions remain completely confidential.

Companioning

I work from a companioning approach to grief and loss. This means I am a compassionate, present, and sacred space to help you navigate your way through a very personal and transformative experience of loss. My hope is that our work together can foster a sense of hope and possibility, even in the midst of profound pain and uncertainty.

Personalized, Evidence-Based Care

With over two decades of clinical experience, I provide personalized, evidence-based care tailored to your unique experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals. Drawing on empirically supported approaches within a collaborative, client-centered framework, we'll work to create meaningful change, build resilience, and support lasting emotional wellbeing.
